Outrage over killing of UNIPORT students

THERE was outrage yesterday over the mob killing of four university students accused of stealing mobile telephone sets and laptops. Ugonna, Ilyod, Tekana and Chidiaka, 100 and 200 level students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Rivers State were stripped naked, beaten to a pulp and set on fire by a mob in Aluu, near the university. They were in their 20s and studying Engineering and Theatre Arts. The course of the 100 level student among them was not known last night.
